We have four agents that are ready and able to help you make the best choices in moving forward with your health insurance needs. We are Authorized Agents for Blue Shield and Anthem Blue Cross of California, as well as independent agents for other companies such as Kaiser Permanente, Health Net of California, and Sutter Health.
Wendy Calderon
Wendy is Partner and President of Dayton Sayer Insurance and has been with the office since 2017. She specializes in assisting our clients with any problems/issues that arise and manages the daily running of the office in addition to being an agent as well. She has over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry including medical billing. She comes from a background in the legal industry with 7 years of experience in family and criminal law. Wendy is married with 3 children and enjoys family BBQ's, hockey, and spending time with her family and friends.
Grace Shelden
Grace has been with Dayton Sayer Insurance since 2022. She has a background in title and escrow previous to insurance, and vast experience in customer service and problem solving. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and family and has been known to be quite the "foodie".
James Green
James is Partner and Vice President of Dayton Sayer Insurance. He recently joined the company after several years in executive roles for digital and traditional media companies. James is married and has 3 children and enjoys sports and BBQs in his spare time.
Jake Rick
A Chico-native, Jake has a solid background in customer service and sales, and a track-record of making complex processes clear, simple, and personalized for each client.
Outside of work, an avid sports enthusiast, you’ll find him on the golf course, fishing at local spots, or volunteering in community events.
